Tile Africa Joins Cricket Namibia as Official Stadium and Tile Partner

Cricket Namibia proudly announces Tile Africa as the official Stadium and Tile Partner for the FNB Namibia Cricket Ground, a landmark venue that is set to host the Proteas in October, the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup in January, and the Men’s ICC Cricket World Cup in 2027. This partnership signifies a major step forward in delivering a world-class facility that will stand as a symbol of excellence and national pride.

Tile Africa, a well-established brand with a rich history and strong ties to the Namibian community, will play a vital role in the development of the stadium’s infrastructure, ensuring it meets international standards and becomes a stage for iconic sporting moments.

“It’s an exciting opportunity to be part of such a historic event in Namibia,” said Tile Africa Namibia Store Manager. “We are proud to partner with Cricket Namibia and contribute to the growth and awareness of the sport, and the improvement of its facilities.”

Cricket is more than just a game; it’s a unifying force that brings communities together. Tile Africa recognizes this. “Sport has always been an activity where communities, both locally and internationally, come together to enjoy and celebrate. Tile Africa has been a part of the Namibian community for many years, and we are privileged to be invited to be a part of the building blocks of a great future for the sport of cricket in our country,” Leukes added.

With a legacy dating back to 1987, Tile Africa is a division of Norcros SA, part of the British-based Norcros Plc listed on the London Stock Exchange. Over the decades, the company has become synonymous with quality, innovation, and design in tiling and bathrooms. Through its wider family, including Johnson Tiles, TAL, and House of Plumbing, Tile Africa is dedicated to “Creating Spaces For Living Life Your Way.”

Cricket Namibia CEO Johan Muller welcomed the partnership with great enthusiasm:
“We are privileged to have Tile Africa on board. Their brand is built on quality and trust, values that mirror our own values. With their support, we are not just building a stadium; we are shaping the future of sports in Namibia.”

Together with partners like Tile Africa, Cricket Namibia is creating a legacy facility that will elevate the sport, inspire future generations, and proudly place Namibia on the global cricket map.
