Cricket Namibia is proud to host the ICC Level 2 Coaching Course, an important step in developing the next generation of coaches across Africa. The course, held from 7–10 September in Windhoek, forms part of the ICC Legacy Program, which focuses on empowerment, skills development, and long-term impact in the game of cricket.
A total of 12 candidates from five nations are participating: Rwanda, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and Kenya
The sessions are being facilitated by Master Educators Jolene Dieppenaar and Sylvester Mutusva, both highly respected in their fields for their expertise in cricket coaching and education.
Through a combination of practical training and theory, the participants will be equipped with advanced coaching skills designed to elevate player development in their respective countries. Upon successful completion and assessment, they will be certified as ICC Level 2 Coaches, further strengthening the coaching pathways within African cricket.
