Cricket Namibia is proud to announce, in partnership with Apex, that a selected group of talented young cricketers will represent Cricket Namibia at the prestigious Apex International Cricket Festival to be held in the United Kingdom from 29 June to 2 July 2025.
The festival, hosted at the renowned Millfield School, is an invitation-only T20 tournament co-hosted by former England internationals Sir Andrew Strauss and Ebony Rainford Brent. The 2025 festival will bring together elite youth teams from Namibia, South Africa and Guernsey providing a unique platform for high-performance competition, development, and international exposure.
Cricket Namibia’s team will travel from 20 June to 4 July 2025, with preparations already underway for what promises to be a memorable and developmental tour for these rising stars.
Competing on an international stage alongside top academies and nations reflects the progress and potential of Namibia’s young athletes.
Cricket Namibia also recently hosted a successful Golf Day fundraising event at the FNB Namibia Cricket Ground, rallying support from the public and corporate sponsors to help fund the team’s travel and preparation. The event highlighted the country’s commitment to investing in youth development and building a sustainable cricketing future.
As part of the Apex Festival experience, players will benefit from expert coaching by international professionals, mentorship sessions, and life skills workshops designed to nurture both their athletic and personal growth.
Cricket Namibia wishes the squad the very best in England.
