The 2026 Nashua Junior Franchise Competition officially came to an exciting close the past weekend, following weeks of highly competitive junior cricket action that showcased the future stars of Namibian cricket.
As the official naming sponsor of the tournament, Nashua Namibia once again played an important role in supporting grassroots cricket development and creating opportunities for young players to experience a professional and high-performance cricket environment.
The tournament brought together the country’s top junior cricket talent across the U12, U14 and U19 age groups, with players exposed to professional match environments, team structures, and competitive cricket experiences that continue to support Cricket Namibia’s vision of developing globally competitive players from the grassroots level.
Cricket Namibia would also like to extend its sincere appreciation to all tournament partners and stakeholders, including Ashburton Investments, The Grove Mall of Namibia, Stadio Higher Education, N/a’an ku sê Foundation, AJM, and Green Enterprise Solutions for their continued support towards the growth of junior cricket in Namibia.
Speaking during the closing ceremony, Cricket Namibia Chief Executive Officer, Johan Muller thanked all sponsors and corporate partners for believing in the future of Namibian cricket and contributing to the success of the tournament.
U12 Results
The U12 final saw AJM Badgers defeat Green Chargers by 8 wickets in a dominant performance. Francois van Deventer was named Player of the Match after producing outstanding bowling figures of 4 wickets for 6 runs in 3.4 overs.

U14 Results
Ashburton Alphas claimed the U14 title after defeating Stadio Warriors by 7 wickets in the final. Natie la Cock delivered a match-winning innings of 76 not out off 48 balls to earn Player of the Match.

U19 Results
The U19 final delivered an exciting finish as Grove Mall Elite defeated Stadio Warriors by 4 wickets to lift the championship trophy. Ruan Conradie was named Player of the Match following his contribution of 3 wickets for 15 runs and 7 valuable runs off 6 deliveries.
The U19 age group once again highlighted the strength of Namibia’s emerging cricket talent, with several players continuing to push towards higher representative honours and future international opportunities.
